I moved to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee in July 2003 after many, many long winters in Northern Michigan. I found my dream home on the top of Rainbow Mountain. It is your typical Tennessee log cabin with a wrap-around porch and a view of the highest peak in the Smokies outside my office window. This makes it pretty hard to concentrate on work at times! I was a classical musician in my 20's and 30's while I was raising my son and daughter. My kids turned out great and I'm very proud of them. I miss my music terribly though but I'm loving the down home fiddling that comes with this territory. The musicians here have passed their talent down generations and I love hearing the stories of their heritage. I still drive my neighbors crazy with the sounds of Bach and Beethoven drifting over the hills.
