I am 58 years old, and a retired math teacher. I joined ebay three years ago when I realized that I had an attic and basement filled with things I no longer needed or wanted. Some items are real treasures and it would be a shame to throw them away.

I use the US Post Office, Priority Mail only. It's a fast turn-around time, and you receive your package 2-3 days after pick-up by the Post Office. You pay, a few days later you get your item, well packaged. I use bubble-wrap, and styrofoam depending on the items and even double box for very fragile items. With US Priority, in addition to fast service, you will receive a tracking number and always know where your package is. This is good for you and me, and I think you will be happy with your purchase.

I expect good communication. I would like some kind of contact within a day or two after a sale. If a buyer is not going to pay right away, in a day or two, then I expect the buyer to email me and let me know the method of payment. That is just being a good ebayer. I will wait for a money order or check, but it is nice to know I'm waiting for something. Otherwise, I might think it's a no-pay situation. No one wants to be left hanging, unsure of what is going to happen.
