Hi Mark, I actually have three bearing fruit this year. At last count there are eighteen plants total. The Avocado tree must have needed a mate, as, some need a male, &, female to bear fruit. I discovered last summer one of my friends has three Buckeye trees that put on nuts. I told him it was rare for this area. I think Ohio is the Buckeye state. Cheers from Sunny S.C. Jeff :O)><>J<><(O:

Jeff, The pinapple plant is a neat idea. I was fortunate enough to grow up in Florida. One year when I was around 10 or so my brother and I took a avacodo seed, rooted it and planted it in my parents back yard. Today it is about 30 feet tall and never had fruit. My orange trees did much better Mark
