I was lucky enough to attend this clinic and also own the video. Thanks to Cathie's vast knowledge, helpful and understandable techniques not only do I ride my draft horse bitless but my children are also riding their horses bitless with confidence. I grew up like many, riding barefoot in shorts, saddleless, no helmets, and halter wanting to ride the rankest horses I could get my butt on. After having kids I wanted a strong bit, big saddle, helmet and Shetland pony to carry me or the kids while we were bubble wrapped :O) I met Cathie when I got my daughter her first pony. He was very pushy and thought things should be his way pulling through any bit we put on him. Cathie helped us with very understandable methods turn him into an amazing therapy pony now. We have transferred all we learned from Cathie to our other horses as well and are thankful for her help. I never would have imagined I'd be riding bitless and feeling like I had more control but I honestly do.

I bought this DVD after meeting Cathie Anderson in person and learning from her as well as from her horse riding whom bitless gave me an unforgettable experience: the response I was getting from the horse was so much faster and willing than anything I was used to. The DVD is not only very interesting to watch but it also teaches a lot of things, and even those you may already know are being refreshed, as you are watching different horses with different "issues" being resolved on the spot. The transformation those horses go through in front of your very eyes is very impressive! I strongly recommend this DVD to anyone who is interested in natural horsmanship because it shows you more than just bitless bridle riding. Everything is explained very clearly and well illustrated by the author's work with different horses.

I have seen Cathy in action. She know's what she's doing. I had the opportunity to spend time with her; really get a birds eye view of her training methods. Its hard to believe the transformation of some of these horses! She took a 8 yr old wild stallion and was on him in an hour.She was careful to explain that this is not the goal (to be on in an hour) just that with these methods she has developed from many years of experience and what she has learned from other professionals,blended,she has found (seemingly) miracle ways of teaching your horse. The transformation is almost unbelievable! She is straight forward and to the point, pulling no punches. You'll get the truth out of her, like it or not, about your horse and its future in training. She wont drag out your training for extra money like some. She even travelled to another state accross the country! (they paid of course) because the people loved her results sooo much! I have had the pleasure of observing Cathie at work on several occasions. Her friendly manner, no nonsense, practical approach to working with some difficult horses taught this 40+ year veteran horse owner a whole other realm of horse communication and gentle training techniques. Hello.... Let tell you a short story! I have a beautiful horse named Yankee who doesn't have a mean bone in his body! However, one day he started bolting into his stall. Nothing we tried would help. When you tried to stop him from bolting we'd get knocked to the barn floor cause his strength was no match for us. Our Vet recommended Cathie, I had told him before hand I don't want anyone here with chains and what nots. Cathie was very pleasant and very concerned and treated my horse so well. She had my boy and me trained in three hours. Thanks to her, she gave me knowledge and the confidence I need to be a good Mom to my four legged kids! God Love Yah Cathie.....Sandie & Yankee

Hi my bofriend Red and I contacted Cathy out of the blue last January. We got our first horse and had no idea what we were doing. I found Cathy on-line and she invited us over to her house so she could work with us in getting our horse's butt out of our face and have him turn and face us when we entered his paddock. Well it was a miracle for us. After working with Cathy a bit we went home and in about 15 minutes we taught our horse that it was not okay to turn butt on us. We now have a horse who welcomes us and walks right up to us when we enter his paddock. As a matter of fact, as soon as he sees us coming from the house he gets in position to greet us. We went to Cathy's clinics this year and she is really amazing with her clinic horses. I would recommend her and her videos to anyone who has a problem with their horse or someone who just wants a better trained horse. Cathy is amazing. Thanks Cathy, Brenda

Ive had Reddogscooter work with my horses and she's fantastic. She has worked with problem horses and young horses just starting out. I have one horse that exclusively goes in a bitless bridle. She was started that way and has never offered any kind of resistance in her training. I highly recommend this trainer to anyone. She can help you out when no one else can and she can get your horse started on the right hoof!

Cathie, Glad to see your selling these on ebay!! Thanks for all the help with Tango. Going bitless was the answer. Now all our horses ride in these bridles, and I have to say, I'm not comfortable riding a horse WITH a bit after riding without. Best of luck!
