The design and layout are good but the mechanical.....?
I'm having difficulty with the release mechanism. When I close the two release grips on either side of the table that allows the stand to rise, it usually doesn't release fro several tries and takes some effort. But I do like the unit!

Seemingly Quality Batteries
I've only had them about a week but they are half the price of the MFG battery and seem to be as powerful. We'll see but at half the price....................

Great Flashlight
2 of 2 found this helpful Really a great flashlight and it takes two different type of batteries - (3 AAA in a mounting devise or a rechargeable BRC 18650), simple controls and little details that improve function. Example: ever put a flashlight, while still on, face down on a table. And because it was face down and no light was showing it got left one and killed the batteries. On this light notice the crenelated front ring: even standing on its face light is still visible it the light is on.
