Aileen Wuornos, Hardly the Moster the Media Makes Her
3 of 4 found this helpful This is a pretty good documentary that goes a long way to show how Aileen Wuornos was a hapless individual who had an abysmal childhood, and was taken advantage of by almost everyone she encountered. As for the so called legal process, regardless of what really happened between her and those she killed, she was afforded zero defense, and sent to the death chamber with little in the way of any fighting chance of securing so much as life in prison. Everyone got their piece of her, and collected the money they got for selling those pieces for what they could get.
I would strongly advise getting the sequel to this documentary, Aileen Wuornos: Life and Death of a Serial Killer, the 2002 interviews, as it provides the rest of the story.
Lee Wuornos makes a great point when she says something to the effect that if she had just decided to rob guys and kill them instead of performing her honest hooking duties, as a 5 to 7 day a week prostitute working in Florida and being a blue eyed blond, there would have been way more dead in the course of the year. Alternately, how many guys a year do you think try to get rough with a streetwalker, and try to rape and rob her? Her story holds water. Too bad it was never presented in a court room.

Finally, the long play version is here
The best reason to get the Blue Ray edition of Schindler's List is it is the only version that allows you to pop it in and watch the entire film without a break to change the tape, or disk, or flip the disk over. The only thing I would say disappointed me was no new special features, and the original special features are on the DVD version and thus are not in the upscale Blue Ray format.
The transfer has a richer quality and one can see much more of the detail, like the texture of the material of a suit jacket, or being able to read a sign in the background.
I highly recommend this set.

Great sweetener information resource to win Arguments

If you need information on this subject, or you just want to be able to convince others about the dangers of artificial sweeteners, you will find this book invaluable. I was even able to convince a know it all who doesn't stop talking to stop using Splenda just by handing her a copy of the book with 55 pages bookmarked for her reading. She not only read the pages, but was so enthralled, she read the entire book, and while no amount of talking on the subject had ever moved her stance, reading the book got her off the junk cold turkey.
The book went a long way towards explaining why it was that eating a bowl of cereal that was contaminated with raid max roach spray was one of the tongue tingling, tastiest meals I ever had. I kid you not, it tasted great. It just happened to be poison.
