Pathfinder (2007,DVD)
1 of 1 found this helpful Being a fan of Viking culture and history, I eagerly awaited the opportunity to watch this movie. Although there was plenty of action and the fight scenes were good, the overall setting was dark and a little hard to watch even on a state of the art television. Also, the characters were rather one-dimensional with the native Americans too good and the Vikings too evil.

Soul of the fire
This is the fifth of the Sword of Truth series. For a fan of the sword and sorcery genre, it pretty much has it all. Each book in the series seems to get better. Although they all follow the genre's formula of having a seemingly insurmountable foe for the hero, he ultimately triumphs so he can go on to the next book. Goodkind's character development and story line seem to improve with each offering.

excellent camera for the price
2 of 2 found this helpful Whle everyone wants more and more megapixels, they have forgotten what good pictures can be taken with less. You may not want to blow every shot up to 11x14. The good: these cameras are cheap on Ebay, they produce excellent skin tones, they offer more control than a point and shoot, they have a long optical zoom. The bad: The auto focus is relatively slow, and there is somewhat limited aperture control. Not a bad compromise for a camera of ths price.
