I have been selling full time on eBay for 6 years after leaving a large corporation as a Material Systems Engineer.

It depends on what I can get. Our inventory is largely driven by whats available at statewide auctions, estate sales and yard sales. We have sold new items, as well as true classic antiques. The market for what I can purchase at a reasonable price varies but at any given time we have a range of true antiques to new items listed at all times.

I buy alot of household items, vacuum cleaner bags, peanuts, packing material and sometimes electronic accessories. We also purchase some Case Knives for our private collection or for trade and sale at speciality shows.

We started in Ebay while furnishing our home often we had to purchase large lots of items to get the one item we wanted at auction. The challenge was how to pay for the item we wanted by selling off what we did not. It grew from there. During the economic dowturn following 9/11 my company had 4 layoffs during the last one I decided to accept a buy out package so that I might pursue a full time career on eBay and at local consigment shops.

We live in a small Southern town with population of about 7000 people. We are the county seat so we have many large town amenities with small town feel. We have only lived here 2 months, having moved from a true city.. so we are really adjusting and loving it so far.
