Not a continuous glow.
You know how food looks so much better than the picture? Well same goes for these little lights that screw onto your valve stems. Maybe if you're pedaling at 100 mph you may have a continuous "glowing ring" but at my 10-12 mph mountain bike pace it's a cute little green light going in really fast circles. But it's a light. So I can't say it doesn't work.
