Hunter's Searching for a Star foundation is organized for the sole purpose of enriching our society by promoting positive change through use of the performing and visual arts. We are not here to work in competition with the wonderful school systems that are in place, but intend on working in tandem with schools at the community level and on the commercial side. We moved to Wylie about 5 years ago from upper Illinois near the Wisconsin border. Moving to Wylie presented us with a new way of life and a totally new and different focus. My wife a music lover of Jazz, Blues and Gospel, and me, a musician all of my life were so pleased to see the high level of interest in music when we got here. It was amazing to see how many wonderful guitar pickers, piano players and singers there are in this new community of ours! It just blew me away! My intent was to go to Dallas, start singing and build up a following. I never intended to open a music store. It was when I saw the great level of interest by parents supporting their children in music, that my wife and I decided to open a music store. We wanted to be in the thick of it, right in the heart of this wonderful musical movement! Ballard Street Music Company is just what the doctor ordered. I know that there is much to learn, and believe you me, we're learning and it's WONDERFUL!

We ship to the United States at the present time. As we grow, we will expand on this.

Hunter's Searching for a Star Foundation offers families with limited incomes the opportunity to pursue extracurricular involvement in the performing and visual arts. The foundation also offers seniors in our communities continued opportunities to pursue activities in music, dance, yoga and the visual arts. We provide music therapy services for children and adults with special needs. We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to experience the therapeutic nature of music and we offer a practical approach to our special needs students by engaging children and adult students in active music making partnerships.
