Rubensgirls is the marketplace for the Rubenesque woman. Peter Paul Rubens painted women of size in poses that showed their love of life. He protrayed them with a bold brush stroke and a vibrant color pallet. At rubensgirls we strive to do the same.

I come from a theatrical background. I love dressing in beautiful clothing and portraying the part of people of various times and places. I enjoy being my own boss, and so searched for and found a market that would compliment my interests and be of service in my community. I am a Rubenesque woman. I know and understand the need for beautiful quality clothing at reasonable prices. What better fit than a shop that caters to the discriminating plus size woman?
The term Rubenesque has always facinated me. I know what it means to BE Rubenesque! I have always felt it was a lifestyle as well as a discription. My hope is that along the way I will find others who share this same passion. Welcome Rubensgirls!
