Hello, Thanks for stopping by & Going thru My Paintngs..!!I Am Rukshana Hooda, a Visual Artist/Painter, Was a Student of Sir J.J. School Of Art, & Sophia College, Mumbai SOLO EXHIBITION: OASIS ART GALLERY, MUMBAI 2006, RONAK ART GALLERY, MUMBAI 2009

I have an assorted Genre, Very Varied, From Abstracts, Landscapes, Charcoals, Moghal-Art, Human forms, Warli, History, & alwayz inspired by Nature around me, its beauty, its serenity, solitude is sometimes Heavenly to me.... Nature in its own self has always stayed absorbed in my expression. Human forms, stones, clouds and landscapes with types of vegetation take transformation on paper, plates, canvas, marine-ply, teak, etc. Beauty has no form still i try to capture & create on my canvas.... have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember, but employment in a totally unrelated field caused me to give up doing any form of artwork for many years. In recent times I re-kindled my interest in art, and, inspired by friends and family, I decided to showcase some of my works online. Painting is something I must do, and it is a major part of my life. I love flowers and abstract art & hopefully my artwork speaks for itself.

About the artist: Rukshana Hooda The overwhelming response to rukus paintings on fabric, canvas, thick cartridge etc, inspired her to start off with a new collection of miscellaneous paintings depicting her passion, her mind and her talent in her own style. Her paintings are oozing with creativity and originality. She is a qualified designer from Sir J.J. School of art and Sophia College in Mumbai and is dabbling in art since 24 yrs now, has worked for Resham Creations as a Designer, as a Freelancer with Laxmi Vishnu, & as Teacher for Art/Craft/Calligraphy with The Fidai Institute, also conducting classes for students for The Elementary & Intermediate Art Exams.
