I love this phone!
I have owned several different styles of Blackberry phones over the years.I have only two problems with blackberry phones. 1st, if you have a number that is spelled out, ex: 1-800-Directtv, you will have to go look at a regular phone to figure out the number due to the integrated number letter key board. 2nd, you can not use the internet and talk at the same time. This may be due to carrier quality. I know AT&T offers phones that can do it but Verizon does not. On to why I love this phone! By far,for a non-touch screen phone this is the best style of Blackberry. It does everything you need a phone to do and more. The camera takes good clear pictures and you can cut, crop and zoom in or out on the pictures. The videos are clear and the music player sounds great. I can expand my music collection, video length, and amount of pictures or documents on here via the mini sd card that slides right in on the side of the phone.(Not behind the battery) The suretype feature makes texting and emailing a breeze and it even spell checks as you go. You have a select, cut, copy and paste feature like a computer that makes it real easy to relay messages to more than one person at a time. You can also make group contacts so that you can send pictures or text to one name in your address book and it goes to everyone you put under that group name. The contact information you can store within each contact is almost endless. Name(First,Last,Company,Title at company, addresses (work & home),phones(8),email addresses(2),if they have a blackberry, their pin number for the blackberry instant messageing system (which is also a brilliant idea for family and friend blackberry users)birthdays, anniversarys it is almost endless. I use the calculator feature a lot. I also use the calendar for everything! There are tons of apps for even this blackberry. NFL,Weather,Games, Document translaters,Free ringtone, screen saver, and picture download sites dedicated to blackberry users. You never have to go without on this phone just because it isn't a touch screen. I have never had any trouble getting signal with this phone. I have been on Cingular,AT&T,Alltel and now Verizon with blackberry. Even when my son's Motorola and husband's Samsung phones don't have signal,I manage to have a bar or two on my blackberry. I can talk and text or email at the same time, which with a high schooler is brilliant and a life saver most times. You can take notes, record lectures and even bluetooth them all right to your computer. Not to mention if you have an important meeting at work you can upload your presentation right to your phone from your computer, plug your phone in via usb or bluetooth and dish your presentation in your meeting! There is so many more features but no where near enough room to discuss them all. The battery lasts two days if all you are doing is texting and emailing. Talking and texting and emailing you will put it on the charger every night. Get the extended battery and you will be amazed at the time between charges. I have the extended battery and with average use, I put mine on the charger every other night. If you are one of those people who has a phone glued to your ear all day, you will charge it every night. I have never had to have a mid day charge with the extended battery. If you are looking for simple or complicated you found it in this phone! You can do anything with this phone and it is so small you can just slide it right into your pocket and go. Brilliant!
