The Enduring Benefits of the Casio Cassiopeia E-125
I was first introduced to the Cassiopeia line back in 2000/2001 when the PDA rage first began. Beginning with the E-115 and then, later, the E-125 I quickly became a huge fan of their power, functionality and versatility. Nicknamed The Brick for both their larger size and their durability, I eventually sold my E-125 back in 2006 and moved to an IPAQ 2200 series. I rece ntly sold that because my employer no longer supports and I'm now back to...yup, you guessed it...a Casio Cassiopeia E-125. All of the original features are still there: I have over 3000 Outlook contacts, several hundred Excel Spreadsheets and Word Documents as well as I can sync with my laptop and read through emails etc. on a flight without opening P.C. This particular functionality is especially helpful when one is in a client/internal meeting and does not wish to insult others by staring into laptop. I decided to buy this device because: it was "new in box" which are very hard to find and because I knew exactly what I was getting: a handy business tool that is fast, powerful and takes a road-warrior's pounding. I wish Casio had never stopped making these.

IRiver T10 (512 MB) MP3 Player
I actually own several of these IRiver T10 models (from 512 up to 2GB). The reasons I do are several: first they are powered by external batteries (not that Apple/Ipod thing where you have to send your player in to have the battery "surgically" replaced) and they play for many hours on a AA battery before they need replacing; next, they are very easy to load/manage with regard to music; you can run them as either MTP or UMS versions which makes drag/drop of music files a snap; lastly, the sound of these little winders is hard to describe! IRiver has been known for many years as having superior/rich sound quality and these T models do not disappoint: they come loaded with both a user equalizer as well as pre-programmed EQ levels and SRS settings; by managing these settings, one can produce amazing sound quality for live concert/normal studio recordings that, in my humble opinion, far surpasses anything that Ipod can offer. While these have been discontinued by Reigncomm (IRiver) they are fully supportabled with firmware available on the web. Amazing little products!
