I have been selling on eBay since March, 2005, but I've been a buyer since 2002. I know when you're a new buyer, the process can be confusing. I'm always happy to answer questions.

I accept PayPal, credit cards, money orders and personal checks. With personal checks, you'll have to wait two or three weeks for the check to clear. But if your purchase is under $100, and you have a feedback rating of 100% with 75 or more, I will ship when the check is received. When buying items with combined shipping, please wait for me to send you a corrected invoice. Canada, UK, and Australia, please pay by PayPal only. With foreign shipments, I need a phone number in order to print postage; this number will be deleted at the end of our transaction.

I do my best to get your purchase in the mail the next day after payment is received. I know you're anxious to see it, and I'm anxious for you to have it. I always package items carefully--that is some of what you pay for--and have a right to expect--from my $1.25 handling fee. I know that buyers often feel a handling charge is a sneaky way for a seller to get a little more money. I promise you I have carefully calculated costs, and I will not charge you more than necessary to cover expenses. I charge actual cost of postage plus $1.25 handling fee. I also include the estimated shipping weight in each listing. If the postage appears to be too much for the weight and method of shipping, please feel free to ask me about it. Mistakes can happen. If I over-estimate a shipping weight, I will refund the difference. If I underestimate, I will pay the difference. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as items can be safely packaged together.

I consider all sales to be final, but I will consider individual, unforeseen, problems. Your time to ask questions and request photos is before you bid.

I can be reached through the eBay message system, or at brtdsgns@optonline.net. If contacting me through email, always include item title and number in the subject line. Also, if contacting me by email, please have the courtesy to include your real name in addition to your eBay ID. No one will see your email except me. If you are requesting additional photos of an item, I need your email address. I do not keep, sell, or give out email addresses, and yours will be deleted at the end of our business exchange. My computer is heavily monitored for security, so don't worry about a virus or spam resulting from our exchange.

I take my integrity very seriously. I do not overcharge on shipping. I treat your purchase as carefully as I can. Unless there is a reason for an item not to be cleaned (such as with some antiques or delicate items) everything that is shipped is clean. This is a non-smoking home, but I don't know the previous environment of most of the things I sell. If I detect a smoke smell, I will tell you in the listing. I will describe things as accurately as I can, but I'm human, and I can miss things. If you have a question--ask! And please ask before you bid. I am a one-person business, and I appreciate your patience.

I love to hear from my buyers, whether it's information about what you purchased, questions, or just telling me your plans for what you bought. I appreciate your prompt payment. If you say you will send a check or money order and life intervenes, please take a moment to let me know. When you make a purchase and you pay by mail, if you don't use the eBay check-out, I have no way of knowing your plans. After a few days with no contact from you, you appear to be a non-paying bidder. That can be avoided by using the checkout, or taking a minute to contact me by eBay message or email. I want to know that your item arrived safely. You can do that just by leaving feedback for me first. Or you can email me. Our eBay reputations depend on feedback, so I hope you will leave it. I leave feedback after you let me know you have your purchase and are satisfied with it.
