When I was 13, I was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic ovarian cancer. After multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, I was very fortunate to be deemed in remission. However, I knew even then that I wanted to spend my adult life working with kids like my 13-year-old self. Fast forward 15 years to the time when I moved to Upstate New York and discovered Camp Good Days and Special Times. I first attend Camp Good Days as a volunteer in 1998 and it was love from the start! So, years later, when the opportunity arose to work for Camp Good Days as the Syracuse Office Coordinator, I gratefully and very happily jumped on it! Now, I have an amazing job that allows me to hang out with some truly special kids and families. How lucky can a girl get?
