Great machine, save money and boot from external SSD
5 of 5 found this helpful A refurb 27" 2015 5k iMac below $1300? Too good to be true. True, it lacks a fusion drive. Nothing a $100 Samsung T3 SSD can't fix. Booting from an external SSD makes this baby scream. Also, spend the $60 bucks and buy an extra 8gb of ram (2x4gb). The iMac comes with 4 slots and is easily upgradable. Two slots are empty on the 8gb base model. Enjoy!
