Just returned from Paris--C'est bon! Although I missed my parrot and my garden a bit, it was wonderful! I love flea markets, travel, live music, and collecting. Also, new Sid Dickens art has just arrived...keep watching!

I grew up in what was then rural Virgina and read for escape as a child, so my favorite books tend to be the classics, from Twain and Steinbeck on this side of the Atlantic to Dickens and Collete on the other!

I tend to like offbeat films and enjoy indie film festivals. I liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Everything Is Illuminated, most Cohen brothers films and old favorites like Harold and Maude. Still have a weakness for old westerns, too!

Although what I listen to changes constantly, I have perennial favorites like Neil Young, Dandy Warhols, Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong.

Although my husband has a penchant (still!) for reality tv, I LOVE The Daily Show and Colbert Report. In fact, I've been watching The Daily Show since BEFORE Jon Stewart was the host...Craig Kilborne hosted long ago...

I try to be patient and understanding. I believe that the goodwill you show others comes back to you in blessings.
