We started collecting vintage items a long time ago, due to the influence of our mother, who has a fondness for things that remind her of her childhood. We like things that have acquired a patina, some wear and have a shabby chic look.

We sell vintage china and pottery, vintage games and toys, art from Latin America and other items that make life fun and enjoyable. We also like scrapbooking, and fun items of clothing and accessories and hope you will too! We hope people add fun or beauty to their lives by purchasing items from our store.

We really enjoy buying Noritake, English china, porcelain, Starbucks mugs and flatware. Our craze right now are are creamers! They add a nice touch to a table when you're serving tea or coffee to your guests.

I'm not a packrat, but I'm starting to collect certain silverplated flatware, especially older pieces. It's a reminder of when families had dinner together on a nightly basis. My family likes to talk about the patterns and people who used to share good food and good times with these items. I also collect books: Latin American authors, decorating books, Harry Potter and history books are my favorites. Right now I'm reading books on religion and the history of religion.

For a long time I have been a scrapbooker and have found my style in vintage-type papers and layouts. There are so many beautiful papers and ribbons and embellishments out there! I also enjoy reading, photography, hiking and skiing. This past year I had a garden for the first time and it went pretty well!

Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, anything by Isabel Allende, Julia Alvarez and Marian Keyes. I also enjoy learning about what I sell, so it's always fun to learn about collectibles, pottery, china and flatware.

We've run several businesses in the past 10 years and currently own a bookkeeping business that caters to a mostly Latino clientele. We are in the process of opening a cafe as well. We decided to share our love of all things vintage, beautiful and nostalgic on ebay by opening up a store in October 2007. We hope this will establish a presence on ebay and share our love of old things (or at least, things that remind us of old things).

Seattle Attic accepts payments via Paypal (including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and e-checks), and personal checks, money orders and cashier's checks.

Seattle Attic uses the U.S. Postal Service for shipping. The main service used is Priority Mail Service. This gets the package to the buyer in about two to three business days, depending on the post office. Packages are shipped out on almost every business day.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of having received the item. Item must be returned in original packaging and if new, must be unopened. Buyer must purchase insurance and delivery confirmation. This protects the buyer and offers proof that the item was returned.
