I always describe my stuff as best as I can - You'll get what I describe. I can be anal about it, or whimsical, or just plain sarcastic. Usually, Just Straight Forward! This Item Comes from a Smoke-Filled Home - Yes, the House is on FIRE! Guess what, I WASH my items for you before I sell. Imagine that? Many things that I sell have been packed in a box for so long, the dirt can't even reach them, but if possible, I spruce them up by cleaning them. Yes fellow Ebayers, this is a hint, as in hint, hint...wash what you may sell if possible, it even makes your item L@@K better!

I started Ebay-ing by buying Fiesta (back when it was cheap and people were not trying to retire from their Ebay earnings) I just naturally graduated to selling as we have tons of things collected in our lifetimes that people collect. Collecting things, moving it all with us over the years, we have 1000's of neat items laying around the compound here that people would drool over. Some still have the price tag on them, that's kind of fun! (Can't remember where I got it, but it was less than that price tag on it..) It's more like a Museum-Mansion-Indoor Park Avenue Flea Market-Amusement Park-Georgetown Antique Outlet where we live...always a fresh pot of coffee on for those who my venture to visit us. I Ebay in spirts - From Look at all this cool stuff to I need to get rid of some of this STUFF. I Ebay out of a 9'x9' Study with a big 5'x5' shelved closet and it can get pretty crouded in here. Put it in the Attic or Sell It to the USA.. The Attic is winning... Are We Having Fun Yet??

I wrap my Items very well and ship as promptly as I can (usually the next morning early around 8:15am) after receiving payments. Please leave feedback as to let me know you have received your item. (so I can SLEEP) You don't even have to write a separate e-mail! (gosh knows how much time that would take) You leave feedback, I leave feedback. Gee, that's simple! My Post Office is on Capitol Hill and is open 7 days a week. I am a short walk to mail your package anytime, and I will do that. I will take a 1/2 hour out of my weekend just to walk up and send YOUR package to get it to you as soon as possible. That's because you paid for it and I give a s--t. We recycle everything here at Home. I will use good used boxes & make use of fresh newspaper. I will use good recycled bubble wrap when deemed necessary. Its all free garbage from around the corner of my work mailroom and on my way home down the alley. I don't pay for mailing supplies (except tape) I keep them out of the DC Landfill.

I have never used a returns policy, and I doubt I will. I describe my items as good and honest as I can. Most of the things I sell people are specifically looking for, they know the item and know exactly what they will be getting. I only bid on what I REALLY want, that rule of thumb works.

I had received 436 Positive feedbacks in almost 8 1/2 years on Ebay. As to my 1st Negative feedback, you're blocked baby. I have a scanned PDF of the delivery receipt and delivery confirmation. After numerous e-mails to you (writing me a month LATER asking me if I sent it...) Funny how you didn't write back when I told you I could send copies of what I have to help at your end. Did you receive the item yet tell me you did not? Did you check your Baton Rouge Post Office? You leave negative feedback out of the blue, then write me the nicest e-mail asking for the receipts? Are you sane? Doh! Yes there are 2 sides to every story.

Life has been good. Had a strict upbringing, yet always did everything on my own from the earliest of age (travel, laundry, cooking) We had heat, water & phone service due to the check writing abilities of this 12 yr. old. Wonderful parental units, but thank goodness for a live-in housekeeper. Coffee drinker since Kindergarden, skipped 1st & 4th grades (Elementary School was too long anyway) Graduated Downers Grove High School North Class of 1979 with honors (Thank you, let me out of here so I can go make some real money) Former Wilhelmina model (miss you Ms. Cooper & Mr. Berenger) Anyone interested in brand new Calvin Klein Jeans circa 1980? I have a few dozen, er, 75 pairs. Still a 33x32 after all these years, must be the Kirkland & Ellis LLP diet (binge & purge, purge files that is...)
