I have been in business since 1988 as The Cookie Jar. In 2005 I moved and changed my business to Shan'tiques88. Since 2006 I have been a memeber of eBay initially in a passive way. But I am ready now to jump in and get my feet wet.

As I said previously, I started my business in 1988 with antiques and collectables. I rented space in several different co-ops before buying an 1857 building in a historic district in Saint Charles, Missouri not too far from where I lived. This endeavor I did with my daughter. She started in vintage from the 1960's thru the early 1980's. I got involved with the vintage 1970's and as old as I could acquire. My daughter and I had our building for 10 years and had to close and sell due to older family member getting ill and needing 24 hour care. After those family members passed away or recovered, I moved to Florida. MY daughter, son-in-law and grandsons are in the process of moving down here to all be together. I still deal in vintage and antiques and collectables.

I prefer to accept PayPal and if necessary I will accept cashiers checks in USA funds only. International buyers, please, be sure you send only USA amounts if you pay by cashiers checks, if you do not pay this way I will send your payment back and the sale will be voided.
