Sceptical When Purchasing/Believer Now
6 of 6 found this helpful When I purchased this product, I was a sceptic. I read reviews from any web page I could find one. Most reviews were positive, however, when reading the negative reviews, I found that they all had one thing in common: they were written by consumers who desired immediate results. The product information clearly states that you shouldn't expect immediate results. This is a process.
Following my first treatment, I did experience a little bit of a decrease in production of hair. I should state that have black hair and I'm not the ideal candidate for success with this product. That said, even after shaving my arm pits, I have always had a dark pigment that gave the appearance I hadn't shaved well.
I was eager to see if any results were achieved with my second treatment. I was pleasantly surprised! With each treatment, I have noticed the pigment under my arms has disappeared! In addition, I can now decrease the shaving process from once daily to once every 3-4 days. I am still in the beginning days of this process, keeping on the once every two weeks schedule.
My experience has been very positive. However, I went into it skeptical and with little expectation. I also purchased this product knowing that I would have to dedicate time and effort to the process. It does take a lot of time to treat under arms and legs at one sitting. I choose to use the product while watching television in order to not feel as if it's taken as much time.
I have been able to use this product at it's highest setting. The only place I experience a twinge of discomfort has been in my bikini area and behind my knees. Otherwise, I haven't felt discomfort while using this product. More accurately, I have felt nothing at all.
I am now optimistic that this product will either give me the desired result of eliminating shaving, OR it will diminish further the amount of shaving I have to do. Either way, I will be satisfied with this purchase. I'm happy now that I took the chance on this product. My only 'negative' aspect of this review will be to say that if you are impatient and expecting immediate results, you will not be happy with this purchase. The product information is very accurate, with me being an exception due to my dark hair.
