I have a keen eye for vintage, preferably things that just sell very well on eBay & I've had very good luck doing just that. My love for things vintage started as a child, but it was more of an appreciation. In my own home I find that my style is newer furnishings scattered w/ beautiful, unique & vintage pieces throughout, paying careful attention to my kitchen, bedrooms & baths, and being cautious not to over do it. The interior designer in me gets excited when I find a new use for something old & fabulous. Something that I started for fun has both educated me & provided me w/ extra spending cash as well. I have a growing knowledge of pottery (especially Art Nouveau), linens, glassware, stemware, Christmas decorations, 20th century artwork and more. Sometimes I just buy something that catches my eye & learn about it later. I use eBay to research items & as a place to purge my own things when they become too abundant. So my advice to you, stop asking how to do it & just do it!
