Providing clarification here. The item was packed and dropped off at a UPS store on the 7th. It seemingly didn't make it out until the 9th from that store. That said, we are entitled to a minimum of 3 days (up to the 10th) to ship out an item which was adhered to. "Several days" of no shipment is an exaggeration and not accurate. Everything was done as policy prescribes.
