We decided to start selling our unused junk and random yard sale finds on eBay back in the summer of 2005. It has since expanded - or, rather, narrowed down to - video games and video game systems, as well as the occasional Magic: The Gathering cards, books, DVDs and board games.
Payment policy
We primarily accept PayPal, but we will also accept U.S. Postal Service Money Orders. (You know, the green ones you get from the post office.) However, all other forms of payment will be declined. We have no method of cashing Western Union here. (The one store that deals Western Union here is very anal about cashing Western Union money orders that were not purchased at their store, for some reason. Also, eBay won't permit Western Union.) Also, checks are just too big of a hassle to deal with, and concealed cash is just stupid. I don't know who would consciously want to run the risk of having their money stolen in-transit.
Shipping information
My husband works 50+ hours a week. I work about 20 hours a week, but on my off days, I take care of our 4 month old daughter. We currently only have one working car, and the post office is 15+ miles from our house. Therefore, all of our listings state as such, and you should expect to wait around 2 weeks before receiving your item. We make one big trip to the post office every week.
We ship to the continental U.S. only. Yes, this means that if you live in Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, a foreign U.S. military base, etc., we will not be shipping to you. It's not because we don't love you, we just use flat rate shipping. If we put shipping on an item as $5.00 and someone outside the continental U.S. wins, we will end up having to pay a lot extra just to ship it out. Yes, we can change that on the invoice we send out, but it's a big hassle, and most people pay before we can get invoices sent out, anyway.
