I am a seller who does this occassionally, I enjoy it very much and try to describe items as well as possible, honesty is key to getting repeat customers.
Payment policy
I prefer paypal for most transactions as this is the easiest to use on ebay. I also sometimes accept moneyorders and checks if the buyer doesn't have a paypal account, but it's at my discretion and I will look at the buyers feedback rating for payment history.
Shipping information
I try and ship everything either priority mail or media mail since they are the best value, buyers don't like high shipping charges. I recycle shipping materials to keep costs down. I also take great care packaging breakable items to make sure they get to their destination undamaged (I have shipped several glass items and so far have not had any problems). I ship items as soon as possible, usually the following day.
Return policy
I usually offer a money back guarantee unless I'm selling something so cheap that it wouldn't be feasable to send it back for a refund.

Problem resolution
If there is ever a problem of any kind I prefer to communicate with the buyer or seller first, if this is not possible (the other party doesn't respond for example) a dispute claim may be filed with either e-bay or paypal or both depending on the situation. I generally do not leave negative feedback unless all options of resolving the problem have been exhausted.

Feedback is very important on e-bay and I try and keep my customers happy to maintain a 100% rating. Please don't forget to leave feedback and if there is a problem try to resolve it first before leaving negative or neutral feedback, thanks.
