After almost 30 years of working closely in and with small business, I declared to the universe (and to the few friends that would listen) that I was ready to begin my own small business. But I didn’t know what kind of small business. The only clues to my developing vision were that I knew my business would be in my beloved city of New Orleans, and in my “mind’s eye”, I could see it located along Magazine Street-with its marvelous collection of specialty shops, boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, homes and coffee shops. After a few months of making this declaration and through lots of serendipitous events, I learned that the originating owner of a Chinese antique furniture store on Magazine Street was offering her shop for sale. Today, we are living my vision. We own and operate a shop in New Orleans, located on Magazine Street. We feature exotic and beautiful furniture and home accessories from China.

PAYMENT METHOD: We accept the following forms of payment transactions: PayPal MasterCard Visa Discover Card American Express Certified/Cashier’s Check Bank to Bank Wire Transfer Money Order To pay by wire transfer or credit card without using PayPal, please make your purchase through Ebay, then contact us by phone at 504-894-8540 to complete your transaction. Customers paying with a credit card can also fax a copy of the Ebay page confirming their purchase along with their credit card information including name, billing address and telephone number, credit card number, expiration date and 3 digit security code to 504-894-8542. We are available to assist you at 504-894-8540 from 10am-5pm M-Sat and 12pm-4pm Sun central time.

It is our experience that delivery to your location usually takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks for items offered with fixed rate shipping. This is dependant on the shipping companies' schedules and your location. Items offered with UPS ground take 1-6 business days. Insurance is required and included in the standard shipping fees. If you live within the New Orleans metro area, you can pick up your item(s) directly from our store on Magazine Street or take advantage of our free local delivery service.

RETURN: If you are unhappy with your purchase, Silk Road Collection will accept return of the item(s) under the following conditions: · Purchaser must make request for return of item(s) within 10 days of receiving the item(s). · The purchaser and Silk Road Collection must mutually agree to the return. · The purchaser will initiate and be responsible for all return packaging and shipping arrangements and charges including insurance. · The condition of the item(s) are the responsibility of the purchaser until the return delivery process is complete. · Once the returned item(s) is inspected and found to be in the condition as sent to the customer, Silk Road Collection will extend a full credit for the price of the item(s), excluding original packaging, shipping, insurance and handling charges.

Since your item(s) are insured during the shipping process, the shipper assumes responsibility for any damage caused during shipping.
