Skybound is On Hostile Ground
So I’ve got mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand, I purchased the DVD for On Hostile Ground. I’ve been looking for that movie since it showed on TV 20 years ago. It was just as good as I remember.
Skybound, however, is a terrible movie. It’s premise is good, but it falls flat in every other aspect. The characters are all offensively stereotypical and the acting is really, really bad. They pretty much just spent the whole time figuring out more ways to fit in another F-bomb. The plot has holes big enough to fly a 747 into. It’s like it was someone’s very first time at writing a story, never mind a script, and they just didn’t have any clue how to get the plot to flow cohesively. I’m glad it rated a DVD release, just so On Hostile Ground could finally rate a DVD release with it. But I really wonder how Skybound ranked well enough for a DVD, especially the title release? I can say I definitely understand why there were two other titles paired with it. I can also say if you watch it, you will probably be offended in some say, the stereotyping is that bad.
I have not watched the third title Terminal Countdown yet. I’m not holding out a lot of hope for it, considering how bad Skybound was. This DVD gets three stars for On Hostile Ground. If it were Skybound alone, it would get one.

Cutest Video Game on the Market!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful When we first saw the trailer for this game we knew we had to have it. Yoshi's Wooly World is a well made game complete with adorable graphics and easy to learn controls. Fun for the whole family! Each function feels natural to preform and, unlike some Mario titles, you don't need to preform tasks that require awkward, and near impossible finger positions. Mellow mode is even more fun, giving Yoshi wings so he can float. The only thing that's a bit frustrating with the wings is an inability to rise any higher on your own than you can from where you jump from. Yoshi's Wooly World provides badges that you can pay for with the rhinestones you collect in the game, and these badges give you helpful special abilities like becoming imperbious to lava and flame, or becoming magnetic to the collectibles in the level. The boss battles have been relatively easy so far, and I don't think we've had to try any of them more than once. Furthermore, most levels are so cute and fun that you look forward to returning and hunting out the collectibles instead of dreading it like some games. We love finding all the yarn to "knit" more types of Yoshi. Being crafters in this family, we love the craft theme, and each level has something new and interesting to enjoy. My only complaint is that some of these new things are only used once! ;) Nintendo, please make a sequel to this game. It is just the cutest game out there and we're dreading it coming to an end! :) Thank you so much for Yoshi's Wooly World.
