MY FELLOW SELLERS
This comment section is aimed solely towards my fellow sellers.
Please represent your listed items honestly!! If you list yarns or crochet threads, and proclaim them to be clean, I do not want to open my package and find them covered in dog and cat hair. This has happened to me several times when I have purchased crafting items that a seller claims are clean, and from a pet free home. And please don't pee on my leg and claim it's raining, I know the difference between human and animal hair. If your vintage glassware has excessive flash on the mould lines, put it in your description. Don't claim the edge or feet of a dish to be a little rough, if they are in fact chipped and cracked. I take my glass seriously, and I know the difference between normal wear, and damaged goods. And by all means, wrap it correctly before shipping it. Bubble wrap and packing peanuts were invented for a reason, Plastic shopping bags and paper towels do not provide adequate protection during shipping.
Business InformationPLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK, I ALWAYS DO
I've noticed in the past few months that there is an alarming rate of not only buyers, but sellers, who are not leaving feedback for eBay transactions.
Feedback is an important part of eBay, and when you do not leave feedback, it tells me that you do not value the service I am providing, or do not value me as a customer.
SELLERS: When I notice a seller has a habit of not leaving feedback, I tend to steer clear, no matter how much I want the item(s).
BUYERS: When you don't leave feedback for your purchases, some sellers simply don't care about the quality of service they provide to you.
I treat each and every seller and buyer the way I want to be treated, and hope the favor is returned. I leave feedback, for buyers, immediately upon receiving cleared payment. I leave feedback, for sellers upon receiving and inspecting all purchases/wins. Also, I will not retract neutral or negative feedback, unless it was left by accident. I believe to do so, would be dishonest. Please do not ask.
BE NICE TO EACH OTHER
Please remember, your fellow eBayers are not here to be insulted. I'm noticing a lot of comments in feedback that simply do not belong, and have personally been insulted through eBay email or Paypal. If you have a problem with a buyer or seller, degrading them is not the way to solve it. Keep your comments fair, and impersonal. Before I make purchases from fellow sellers, I read their feedback. If I notice they have a habit of insulting their customers simply because they were not happy with a purchase, I simply don't buy from them. I've had buyers completely ignore multiple emails and invoices for wins/purchases for weeks. When they finally do make payment they insult me through their Paypal notes. I immediately block those buyers. Please remember that we are all human, and would like to be treated as such. Calling your fellow eBayer moron, idiot, dummy, stupid, ditzy, etc... is really not the way to handle disputes. We all have our DUH moments. Nobody is immune.
