thanks to the USPS that this item arrived at all- please see attached images. not one shred of packing material inside the undersized box. insufficient tape to prevent the box from splitting wide open, and hey, check out the handle poke through other side. i don’t know how the skillet didn’t just fall right out. what the seller described as “baked on deposit” is actually significant physical damage to the cast iron which the seller must not have noticed. would not shop here again, or recommend.

No chance the USPS is going to damage a cast iron pan, barring they might use an arc welder on it.. The buyer is not experienced with cleaning cast iron cookware. There was significant, baked on deposit, not damage to metal. I just didn't have the time to do the clean up myself. I described it as such. Now I wish I'd kept it and spent the time to clean it myself. Would have taken paint remover or lye soaking for days, then scraping and scrubbing. Would have sold for twice as much.
