We're the sort of people who have a 1970s clock radio by their bed...we watch a 1980s big screen TV and write letters on an 1800s writing slope. Why? Because of the unique look and feel antiques and collectables give to your home. You may have visited an old castle or stately home? How did you feel when walking round? Connected to a bygone era? That's the charm of antiques and collectables, they have history and presence and will instantly change a room or space for the better. Not to mention the quality of these items...we have an early 1980s arcade machine which has seen many, many players but still plays perfectly (unlike our newer console!) In a world of cheaper and faster it's nice to hold something someone took time and effort over. And in a throw away culture it's nice to remember something you maybe had many years ago. Sky Parlor is essentially run by two people - Rob and Jayne. As well as being in love with eachother we love antiques and collectables and spend most of our time surrounded by history.
