I bought this product for phlebotomy work because I do not have great feeling in my fingertips. This device can be an aid in finding veins on tough customers, however I have learned that there is always a vein available someplace in the arms or hands. This device may prove very valuable for infants, but the prices are ridiculously high for the new ones versus the materials needed to build them.
