Three of my paintings paid for my families surgery. I traded a dog portrait for 2 beautiful English Pointers. Ha Ha, I do sell too. Worked as illustrator and taught a variety of art classes. While in Hawaii I studied Sumi-e.

Art materials, of course! Love brushes. I also buy other artist's work, books and lots of chocolate and gourmet coffee (or tea!)

I collect nature that doesn't mind being owned...such as rocks, shells, peacock feathers, leaves, etc. I prefer other living things to remain free! I also collect new friends and am currently attempting to rid my life of 'things' so I can enjoy the freedom of just 'being' and enjoying each new day, unwrapping it with the anticipation and expectation of the blessings it has for me in that moment.

I spend time on the beach, boating, reading, writing, taking care of my sisters horses when I get the chance and of course, painting!

Mysteries, Nature, Stories with historical base, Art and Inspiration and Personal growth.

Uplifting, humorous, light-hearted themes and I love to work with the television on or much activitiy going on around me...it inspires me as well as being around the water and rocky or sandy beaches to, but in a different way.

I like exotic instrumentals...New Age, Peruvian, Nature Sound Tracks, Love Drums and even the sound of laughter or that of bamboo chimes in a balmy breeze is sufficient 'music' for me!

Murder She Wrote, Mysteries, Classics, Seinfeld tickles my 'funny bone' and I like to watch anything that makes me smile or laugh.

I was Co-founder and Creative Director of Marketing Arts Advertising Agency and White Oak Photogallery. I served as Past Pres. of The Greater Marion Arts Council and taught Adult Education Art Classes in Lima, Marion and Sandusky OH. and Tampa, FL.
