What everyone should know about me
The South Suburban Humane Society began in 1970 and served the needs of the entire south suburban Chicago land area. In the beginning all of the animals were cared for in private homes. We now operate a shelter that serves 6000+ animals yearly!!!

Our Second Chance Stores
At this time we have 2 resale stores located in the southern suburbs of Chicago. It is through the kind and generous donations of our supporters that we are able to operate. Some of our donations you will find here on ebay, others are in our stores, but all are vital to our continuing efforts to help the unwanted and over populated animals in our area. This year in Jan, Feb and March alone 390 felines were spayed or neutered. None of this can be done without the funds raised by the sales that we have achieved at our shops. We hope that ebay will be a great asset for the growing needs of our furry babies.
