Bring back the good old days!
These RCA tall plate tubes replaced the stock EH tubes in my preamp. The difference was immediate and profound. They provided a nice, neutral presentation from top to bottom with very good extension at the extremes. Perhaps not going quite as deep as the black plates but those are more money. Much smoother highs along with a wider and deeper soundstage. Ah, the good old days!
