way back in 1948 the proops family opened a shop on tottenham court road , they traded in war surplus items as well as clearence and job lot lines. their main products were medical equip and techical items from aircraft , the shop also traded in radio spares and surplus woodworking and engineering tools , many of our customers (now youthfully middle aged can remember being taken herre by their fathers and uncles sparking their interest in dabbling, the proops family sold the business to linic plastics in the late 1980 and the whole stock was transferred to the present site in fleckney leicestershire , there is still a shop to browse around with even more odd things to interest many and confuse some.
