All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I don't feel that what I do falls under the category of WORK! I have been stitching since the age of nine with only a short break taken to earn a degree in Special Education and to teach a while, but I'd rather be creating (playing!) all day : - D

As mentioned above, I've been stitching since the age of nine, when my best childhood friend and I would create couture (or our idea of it!) ensembles for Barbie and Midge while watching Dark Shadows on summer mornings! In the afternoons, we'd produce fashion shows at the Barbie Boutique, with Ken and Allen sitting in the showroom on their hardboard chairs with their legs uncomfortably shooting straight out in front of them! They were, however, a MOST appreciative audience : - D A highlight of my career occurred when I was asked to reproduce host Sharon Anderson's weddng costume for her doll, which was displayed on her HGTV program Collectable Treasures - what a thrill! And another wonderful thing happened very recently, when a creation of mine (Ellowyne's The Markets of Marrakesh) tied for second place in the 2009 Fashion Doll Runway competition at the MDCC - yowzer! Many thanks to you all for your lovely support - you ARE the best dolly people on the planet!
Payment policy
Payment may be made through PayPal, and there's a 7-day limit for payment - thank you!
Shipping information
I ship Priority Mail at a cost of $5.00 to buyers within the U.S. For overseas buyers, I use (in general, unless they wish the item boxed) a padded envelope and I check with the post in order to determine the exact cost of shipping.
Return policy
So sorry, but I'll not accept returns nor issue refunds if the winning bidder has not read the description carefully, as the dolls are never included in the auctions, and rarely is their footwear. So please, please, please read descriptions carefully : )
Fashion Doll Runway, 2009
I'm VERY pleased to have recently received word that I tied for second place in this year's Fashion Doll Runway, sponsored by the Modern Doll Convention with my Markets of Marrakesh Ellowyne! I hope to compete again next year, and am already working on various ideas : - )
