I mainly buy toys that inspire me visually. Studying and appreciating character designs outside my personal style, stimulates my creative growth artistically. Lately, I do have an obsession with most things Japanese - food, architecture, and pop culture...in particular, Takara's Jenny. I can't explain it, but in addition to the sweetness, there's a certain melancholy in the design of her eyes. I find it absolutely mesmerizing. If I can find a way to duplicate it without blatantly copying it, I'll be a happy guy!
