Established 1986 as an experiment in revitalized space, salvaged refuse, and weekend hobby! The folks renovated a historic barn they filled with spare antiques and salvage as they restored our 18th-century stone farmhouse, and what else could be done with a barnful of old stuff but open an antique store? Mom gets the credit for this idea, and for stopping down at the town hall for a 50-dollar (in those days!) business license. She gave us the name Fieldstone Antiques. For my part of it, using the furniture to pay rent through college led to an affinity for refinishing! And along came ebay about that time, so I began to sell as starwarsdan in 1997, after a successful tour in highschool as toy dealer at toy shows around the state. Refinishing eventually led to painted shabby-chic-style furniture, and Kitsch-n-Kaboodle was born in 1999, with the ebay store added in 2001. We are ever growing, ever changing, and ever seeking new adventures in kitsch and home decoration!

We also take most creditcards, Visa, MC, Discover, AmEx, through the local antiques co-operative where we are members for the last 5 years. That shop is well-established for nearly 20 years and has appeared in Best of Philly, as well as various pricing guides and collectors' books. CC orders may be sent on-line, faxed, or called in. We ship globally, even the largest of items, with the best professional packing & crating to be found on-line. Our reputation is for over-packing when it comes to furniture. We recycle our packing materials, high-grade commercial padding materials, from electronics & appliance stores, thereby saving waste from landfill and saving our customers extra shipping money! (and gaining some sales because of it in the process ;) it's a win-win! Commonly used carriers include FedEx, DHL, GPX (Greyhound), Freightquote, American Freight, and American Baggage (overseas shipments).

We have a strict NO RETURN policy. For the overwhelming majority of items: no return, no refund, no exchange. The only exception is for very particular custom orders, under very particular circumstances, and for exchange only, as outlined on the listing.
