Please be careful unwrapping your glass not to torque on it. It is best to balance piece in the palm of your hand. Stained glass is strongest in a vertical position, it is best not to lay horizontally. Be sure to wash your hands after handling as it’s leaded. To clean your glass, mild dish soap is best. For white oxidation on the lead, a glass wax works well to brighten patina. Although very durable, it’s probably wise to replace the monofilament yearly as it gets brittle and stretches in the sun. See directions for surgeon's knot. Enjoy your stained glass, it can be an heirloom if handled gently.
