If you're on a budget this lens will do the job.
For the price this is a very reasonable and good lens. I recently transitioned to a newer camera and it's not as stable on the newer camera. I will be checking for a new firmware update. I would recommend for photography more so than video. This is because the focus motor is loud and is picked up by the camera.
