I lost my home and all my possession's in Hurricane Katrina but I did not lose my happy go lucky outlook on life. I lost things and they can be replaced but my family is the most precious thing to me and I would like to share with you what I have always known: Life is short, live each and every day to the fullest. Enjoy the simple pleasures like sunsets, a new flower, family and laughter. Don't dwell on what you don't have but what you do have. Work to live, don't live to work. Savor each and every moment with the one's you love and never take for granted that they know you love them, tell them every day, appreciate them. Do try to do one small act of kindness every day. Treat each mistake as a learning experience. Lastly, live for today for tomorrow is promised to no one. I would not change anything in my life past or present, good or bad it has made me who I am today and led me to the greatest life I could never have imagined.
