All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I've been around the Internet since its inception. First when it was part of the academia world; before commercialization; and afterward. Actually; I got sucked into the commercial end of it by a former vendor; SBT Corporation.

I like to play the angles - my way of making up for flunking geometry in high school back in the day. I would rather play with natural light and how it reflects then to substitute artificial light. One of my favorite methods is doing reflections whether off of water or mirrors. I probably bend more rules when it comes to light then most any other photographer. My favorite motto is 'photography from any angle' as well as 'when other people see a tree, I see the bark of the tree'. There is a difference between those who shoot for the fun of it and those that shoot to put the fun into it. I love to shoot people as well as in the abstract. One follower of my work says that I have a tendency to put ironic behaviors into the work. Like a fire plug out in the middle of nowhere or a goose guarding a yellow golf ball.
Plus, I organize photographers for major event shootings. Shortly, we will be doing nation wide seminars for how to do all of the above.
Business InformationHistory/background
Own two corporations-one in brand promotions and the other in selling products or widgets. Been doing this since 1981. Before all of that I was into materials management for over a decade, adjunct instructor at the local colleges and universities on business courses, one of the top producers in the country for selling photography stuff in big box retail stores. I am a published author with two photographs appearing in a New York Best Seller.
Payment policy
I prefer PayPal because they take care of everything and I don't mind paying the extra points for that kind of service. Believe me, it is well worth it. I've done it myself a few years back when selling technical support services and software and when something goes wrong, it is shear hell to get it right. PayPal does all of it for you and that is worth the extra point or two.
Shipping information
Right now we can do Fed-Ex, UPS, USPS(although I hate standing in line to get something shipped), and we're looking at Greyhound as a possible inexpensive alternative. USA and its territories only. No Canadian, Mexico, European, Asian, etc sales - We are not authorized for doing any kind of exporting. Sorry. Oh, we don't ship to New York either due to restrictive sales tax laws. It just isn't worth the hassle and expense in attempting to satisfy their recent enactments to their sales tax infrastructure. Again, sorry, it is what it is.
Return policy
A lot depends on the manufacturer policies. For instance, software cannot be returned if the shrink wrap has been compromised. Hardware cannot be returned if any parts are missing - we check everything leaving our place of business to insure the place we got it from did their job. If something is missing, we tell you or we attempt to get the missing item so that you do not have to. But, if you open a box and remove something, there is no return policy - if you ship it back any way without an authorized RMA, we will refuse the package.
Generally, assuming everything is up to snuff, we have a ten-day return policy. However, with that said, you will need to contact us to get a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. No RMA, we will refuse to receive it if you ship it back. 'As Is' merchandise is non-returnable. Some manufacturers will take stuff back even if sold by an authorized dealer - they have deeper pockets.
Contact information
The only way you can contact us is through our web sites and through eBay/PayPal. If you see something on eBay and attempt to circumvent eBay, we will refuse to do business with you and we will report it to eBay. If you attempt to coerce us into doing something illegal, we will send what we have to the appropriate legal authority for handling.
Education
BSBA from a really cool private college, 3/4 way through a Masters of Management degree (never completed all the course work - figured my businesses needed me more). Lots of technical schools for a variety of curriculum's. Did a short stint with the National Guard way back in the day. Basic Training was fun - I was fascinated by the fact that grass could grow in sand (Ft Jackson SC).
Volunteering
I volunteer for a PEG channel station (Public, Educational, and Governmental access facility). My job is managing their Internet initiative. I have a small staff, which does get paid, and we have fun with it. Our station is one of the very first in the USA and one of the largest to this day, in terms of the number of volunteers that make it work.
