An oldie but goodie!
1 of 1 found this helpful The Tawny Scrawny Lion has more of a sentimental value than anything. I can remember when I was a child, my Grandmother used to read me this book before bed time. Then my Sister, (4 years younger than me)became interested in the book as well. So my Mamaw (Grandmother)read to both of us. Now that my Sister and I have children, she can use this book and do the same for her Daughter (4 years old). So, I decided to get this for my Niece for Christmas among other Golden books for my Dad and my Sister to read to her just like my Mamaw did for us when we were little. The really cool thing about this is, My family will be here this Christmas and my Sister has no idea that I bought this book for her Daughter! She will be so suprised and will bring a flood of memories and will actually be pretty emotional since our Mamaw is not here with us anymore. The little things in life that mean the world to us now.
