InterestsCollectibles
Aside from my musical gear, I am now also selling collectibles. These items are NOT mine, and I typically know little or nothing about them. I have since agreed to help my roomate sell his INSANE collection of fine art, comic book art, collectibles, etc., and all of these items are directly from that inventory. If these is something of specific you are looking for in this area, please let me know, we very well may have it!.
Business InformationHistory/background
I began buying keyboards on Ebay back in 1998 after a 6 year absence from music. As a keyboardist, I fell behind of major technological advances, and I felt the best way to re-acquaint myself with the technology was to purchase some items from the time period I'd missed. Doing this had many benefits. I filled in the gaps between what I knew and what was new, plus I got a chance to audition gear for my new keyboard rig, plus a lot of dream gear I couldn't afford a few years earlier was now within reach. Along the way, I made some vintage purchases, and I found that a little TLC went a long way, allowing me to make a small profit in reselling these items, and over the years I developed a small sideline doing this. I've taken a hiatus in the last two years from eBay, causing my old account to close, but now I'm back.
I AM an expert on synthesizers and have spent a good deal of time in the retail market, so if anyone has any questions on vintage gear please ask.
Payment policy
Paypal is always preferred, though I am NOT happy with their new policies of holding payments until an item ships. Paypal is NOT an escrow company, and I believe they've over-stepped their boundaries with this policy. I've run into MANY problems on both the buying and selling ends because of this policy, and I'd be very interested in a class-action suit against them. Why? because they are requiring proof of shipment of an item to release funds, but they hold the funds specifically intended to complete the shipping process. They've created a massive inconvenience on both sides of the transaction, and for people who rely on a quick turnaround of that money, it GREATLY increases the amount of time for a transaction to complete. I ENCOURAGE ALL USERS TO VOICE THEIR CONCERNS OVER THIS RIDICULOUS POLICY!!!!
Shipping information
Smaller items usually ship through USPS priority mail.
Larger packages will ship through UPS ground.
Return policy
I do not offer a return policy. In the highly unlikely event a buyer claims I misrepresented an item, I will do all I can to remedy the situation within reason, but since every item I sell is either vintage or used, all items are sold as is. Items damaged in shipping are the responsibility of YOU as the buyer to file a claim against the shipping agent, as I purchase insurance that covers the replacement value of the item with every purchase. In the event of a damage claim, I will happily provide any materials to aid in the agent's investigation, but my involvement with a transaction otherwise ends once I've provided you with a tracking number.
