I am a Memphis area fine artist. I have studied graphic design, film, video, photography and painting. I currently am expanding my painting business.

History/background
I was born in the heart of Memphis. I lived in West Memphis briefly before moving into the Germantown area for elementary school. While growing up I had a love of drawing and a fascination with film cameras. My parents purchased an instant Polaroid camera which I began using to photograph objects. I also spent much of my free time drawing from comic books I had collected. After graduating from high school in Germantown, TN, I moved to the Atlanta-area to follow a career in art at Berry College. By my sophomore year, I had transferred to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While there I began studies as a graphic design major. I also branched out into painting, watercolor, photography, film, and videography. At the University of Tennessee, I won several awards in student competitions for my digital video work. I also gained valuable knowledge while completing an internship at the local PBS affiliate (WKNO) in Memphis, TN. In May 2002, I graduated with a BFA in Media Arts.
