Eleven years ago, after working in the medical field for many years, my husband and I were blessed with a baby boy. All of a sudden I did NOT want to leave this precious gift to go back to work, and yet everyone needs extra money. My prayers were answered when after making a birdhouse to donate to the church bazar the orders started flooding in. I couldn't believe people wanted to pay for something I had created. I was hooked! My husband is a trained woodworker and taught me the basics! We love working together (most of the time LOL) and we have been creating ever since!! I love the prim style! Whether in wood or cloth or wax, there is something special and warm and cherished about each piece. We use very few patterns. Nearly all of our work (except for a few dolls) are free hand drawn each time we make them! This adds a wonderful hand made look that no factory in China can duplicate!!! My family and I are truly blessed to be able to do what we love and have quality time TOGETHER!
