Postage Increases again! Is this too much? Excessive or Fair?The USPS is again increasing rates of first class and have recently increased flat rate and priority rates.
Understandably, gas prices are on the rise and it takes fuel to get a package from point A to B.
However, as a seller of consignment items, my shipping prices seem to be going through the roof and could seem excessive to potential buyers.

eBay Business Partnership? how do you form one?i've been running a small local business selling stuff for other people on eBay for a few years ... recently i've been overwhelmed and have been looking for someone to partner in the business and make some extra money on the side ...
my question ... does anyone have any suggestions how you would pay someone to sell things on consignment within an already established business?

TARGET MISSES THE MARK?!?!?!Have you heard about the new Target return policy? Its stinks in my opinion.
After driving almost an hour to the nearest target store in order to return a duplicate gift, i was basically told this by the manager 'trainees' in summary:

lowercase and ellipsis-what's your type of type?some say it's laziness, some say it's lack of formal education ... it's really neither , the way that people blog or email or type reflects a bit of their personality ... similar to how one would speak in person... i choose to use all lower case because typing is rythmic for me and hitting the 'caps' button doesnt enter into the mix ... i also use ellipsis quite often to show a pause or a change in thought ... so... anyway...Dec-27-06 09:53:58 PSTComments 11

TRUST...the BIG T word... it doesnt come natural, but according to eBay's values, most people are good ... I'd say they aren't born that way :) ... anyhow here it is: The Situation: someone buys a product, you ship it to them, they say it's it's damaged or not usable ... do you A. Give them an immediate refund and tell them to keep what you believe to be a 'damaged' product B. 1 – Bring your item(s) to our drop-off location or Email me (info@kerrbay.net) describing your product and if you live in the Texas Hill Country I will come pick up your item(s).
(a) Before the listing you will need to complete the "Kerrbay.net Consignee Agreement Form" for EACH item.
(b) If necessary, you will need to pay any additional upfront fees. (ex. Reserve Price or Buy It Now listings)
2 – I will take digital photos of your product, research a fair market value, design an online ad for your product and list it on eBay.com
3 - Once your product is sold, I will process the payment securely, take out a percentage depending on the sale price along with shipping and handling charges. (Buyer pays S&H)
(a) If your product does not sell the first week it is re-listed for an additional 7-days free.
(b) If your product does not sell the second time, it can either be picked up or donated to charity (The Frugal Family Store).
4 – Sold items, I will package and ship to the buyer.
5 – I will send you a check.
