Business InformationHistory/background
I've been collecting coins for 35 years, and started selling on ebay in July, 2007. My ebay offerings are mostly foreign coins.
Over 90% of my listings are usually for coins, but I occasionally sell other collectibles including rough lapidary material, mineral specimens, fossils, cut gemstones, and jewelry. I've collected rocks and gems for 15 years, and have cut and polished hundreds of gemstones and built many pieces of jewelry. I hope to list more of these items later.
Payment policy
I accept PayPal, checks, money orders payable in U.S funds, and cash. Please contact me prior to bidding if you wish to use other payment methods.
I dislike PayPal because it exposes sellers to scams, and exposes buyers and sellers to identity theft. Since I opened this account after Jan. 2007, I am forced to offer it. Because ebay has cowed buyers into thinking PayPal is the only safe way to pay, and because over 90% of buyers want to use it, I would offer it anyhow. Rest assured, your satisfaction is guaranteed no matter how you pay.
Shipping information
See the item listing for specific shipping details. I make every effort to keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible. Shipping discounts are given to winners of multiple lots. The discount varies depending on the nature of the items won and the destination.
Return policy
YOUR SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED! I will make sure of it. Please do not leave neutral or negative feedback without first contacting the seller.
Items may be returned for any reason, provided they are returned in their original condition. A full refund (less shipping and handling) will be provided.
All items are guaranteed genuine. If an item is not genuine, or is significantly not as described and pictured, it may be returned and the payment will be refunded - INCLUDING SHIPPING AND HANDLING BOTH WAYS.
Please contact the seller prior to sending any item back.
Coin Grading
Coins are graded using American Standards, and are described using terminology consistant with the ANA Grading Standards. Some foreign countries use standards and terminology different from the U.S. The grading opinions expressed are based on 35 years experience. Always verify grades for yourself, using the photos provided. In some instances, only one photo is provided - in these cases, the worst side is shown and any problems on the side not shown are clearly described. If only one photo is provided, it is to keep costs down on low-value lots - not to hide any problems on the other side!
