The id name TedandBunny came from a picture on a 1910 postcard. I absolutely LOVE the adorable old Steiff Bear gently pushing his bunny friend in the ancient wheelbarrow. This dear old bear and his friend have now been beamed all around the world!

I began buying and selling vintage costume, textiles, decorative items and small pieces of pretty furniture back in the mid- 1970's and it was an obsession that soon became my full-time job! I have an absolute passion for unusual and eyecatching pieces- especially things that are very tactile, whether it be a snippet of Victorian silk velvet,a textured 70's handbag, or the peeling chippy paint of a Shabby Chic chair and I love the thought that these items are being bought to go on and begin a new life. Nowadays I buy mainly from private sources- it often means drinking endless cuppas with elderly ladies whilst listening to the stories behind their treasures, but the treasures are usually delightful and made all the better for a personal history! I'm also lucky to be able to do entire clearances of houses, old shops and redundant farm barns,so my stock is a constant surprise (sometimes even to me!) and changes categories quite frequently
